Holiday memoryMy Diwali memory
10/31/11 My holiday memory had to be when I was seven years old. I was learning what the meaning of Diwali was. Much like to Christmas, I remember learning about how Diwali was the festival of lights, a time for fun and happiness. I was seven at the time I really didn’t care. Sometime later all my friends started to crowd up the whole entire house. I was having the time of my life, stuffing my face with all the candy and sweets I could eat. My favorite part of the festival was when we started lighting the fireworks. After lighting firecracker after firecracker after firecracker, I was pretty tried. When my relatives left I was so tired I could barely stand. My parents said they had a Diwali present for me. My spirits rose up in excitement to only here to help clean up.
